On Thursday 12th February we were lucky enough to be visited by top children’s writer Jack Trelawny. Jack gave a fantastic presentation, outlining how he gets the ideas for his books and how to develop these. Everyone picked up fabulous hints and tips. Michael, who had been busy writing his own story, even got the chance to share this with Jack and get feedback on it. Jack gave out lots of his books as prizes, which was really generous of him.
After his presentation Jack met pupils individually and signed books. All in all it was a fantastic afternoon and we are grateful that Jack gave us his time for free.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Mrs Thomas and Mrs Brandwood are running a fabulous competition to see who can make the most words from the letters of Jack’s name, so don’t delay, get your entries in today!
